Anca has actively contributed for the past 12 years to the growth of the global tech startup ecosystem. She was one of the first to join the core Startup Weekend team in 2010, and support the company into becoming the biggest entrepreneurial education organization worldwide. She had an instrumental role in growing and connecting the European entrepreneurial community with her own organization CEE Changers, and also connecting VC’s with tech startups from NYC to London and Amsterdam.

Before joining the Board, Anca managed SICTIC as Managing Director/CEO and grew it into the largest and most active angel investor network in Switzerland within 4 years.

Anca aims to create social impact via entrepreneurship, and has collaborated with global organizations such as United States Agency for International Development and national governments to create and run programs that would lead to a more stable entrepreneurial ecosystem in developing countries.
