The SICTIC Investor Day is a matchmaking event where tech startups pitch to find experienced investors and supporters. The event language is English. Questions from the audience are also taken in French and German (and translated if necessary). The pitching event is preceded by a SICTIC Angel Training by Tatjana de Kerros at 16:15 (for business angel investors only).

Tatjana de Kerros-Budkov

Tatjana de Kerros-Budkov is a Corporate entrepreneurship expert, investor and Venture Builder at Ricolab, leading the venture-building and innovation activities at the Ricolab Innovation Lab. In addition, she is an investor with SICTIC, Investiere, and Saudi Business Angels (SIBR) and on the Advisory Board of Lish and Startups House. She is specifically passionate about startups in foodtech, health tech, SaaS, EaaS, machine learning, blockchain and B2C consumer tech.

Prior to joining Ricolab, Tatjana founded (and exited) Tagmemics- the first NLP startup to provide semantic analytics in Arabic dialects, and also worked with 500 Startups in Saudi Arabia. She headed the development of Saudi Arabia’s first renewable and nuclear energy entrepreneurship initiative for KA-CARE, and has consulted on entrepreneurship and technology transfer programs with government initiatives and universities including KACST, BADIR, KAUST and SEC.

Tatjana is passionate about startups and leveraging Switzerland’s global competitiveness as a world-class technology ecosystem. Startups: The application window for this event closed. If you want to pitch at other SICTIC events, please submit the filled-in SICTIC factsheet or your business plan. If accepted to pitch, you will get two free tickets to attend.

We encourage startups that fulfil our investment criteria to submit their business case. We offer this service and the pitching at one of our events free of charge to startups.

For each SICTIC Investor Day, a jury will select the eight most promising startups for pitching at the event.

Important: Please select an event location in the submission form.  In case you don’t choose an event location, we will assume you don’t want to pitch at an event but rather just to want share your business case with SICTIC members and investors, and will not include you in the selection process.

Investor registration

This event is intended primarily for angel investors (also novices). Family offices, fund managers and venture capitalists that want to invest in Swiss Startups are also welcome to attend.
