Guido Bühler
CEO at SEBA Bank AG
Guido Bühler is a visionary whose expertise is grounded in global corporate finance. He is deeply proficient in banking, risk, asset and wealth management. Guido built and led large global teams at one of Switzerland’s largest banks, and had an influence shaping market infrastructure with the ECB and DTCC.
Most recently, he founded award winning strategic advisory and risk & research firm B&B Analytics. At SEBA he is building a licensed and supervised Swiss bank combining the new financial world of digital assets with traditional banking – in a secure and vertically integrated setup.
Marius Fuchs
Marius co-authored with Prof. Dr. Cuno Pümpin the book «Vom Manager zum Investor: 7 Schritte in die erfolgreiche Unabhängigkeit» (Campus, 2017) and just recently «Transformation durch Wertsprungmanagement – Der Vorstoss in neue unternehmerische Dimensionen» (Campus, 2019).
Marius holds a Ph.D. from the University of St. Gallen (HSG), where he also earned a Bachelor and Master of Business Administration degree. He specialized in Venture Capital and Turnaround Management during a term at Indiana University (U.S.A) and is a Swiss Chartered Public Accountant. Previous and current positions include roles as advisor, CFO, ad-interim CEO and Board member at privately held as well as venture capital-backed companies.
He is the owner of QIC Performance Consulting and QIC Capital AG in Zug (www.qic.ch).
Currently, he is working on a new book planned for 2021 on Wealth Building through Strategic Investment Approaches (including seed investing), together with Prof. Dr. Cuno Pümpin.
Dr. Christian Hugo Hoffmann
Researcher and AI & FinTech Entrepreneur
Dr. Christian Hugo Hoffmann is an AI and FinTech entrepreneur and researcher who serves as senior consultant for Indivio AG. He co-founded Syntherion, a B2B risk management software company, while working as senior scientist at the chair of Entrepreneurial Risks at ETH Zurich.
Apart from that, he serves as director of Startup Grind Geneva, teaches FinTech in the executive program at the University of Liechtenstein, is a member of the Swiss Fintech Innovation Lab at UZH as well as of the Consultative Expert Group on Digital Ethics at the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA), and regularly writes pieces on AI in leading magazines and newspapers such as NZZ, Schweizer Monat and Towards Data Science.
Katharina Dalka
Katharina lives in London and has her own advisory firm, StellarOne, focussing on Tech and complex cross-border operations.
She is part of the Porta Advisors network, an independent advisory boutique domiciled in Zurich supporting financial institutions, family offices, and corporates.
Deploying her strong Fintech knowledge, she currently acts as COO of DYDON – AI for business. This AI expert company focuses on regulatory and compliance issues in the financial world.
Katharina has started her career as an IT project manager, managing major projects like the IT post-merger integration of Air France and KLM.
Joining strategy consulting boutique Teknowlogy, she was then named Head of Fintech and built the Teknowlogy Corporate Development Practice from the ground, before joining “Technology Fast500 EMEA ranking” company MotorK as Head of Corporate Development.
In her free time she is an avid urban kiz dancer and a gym rat.
Andreas Iten
Andreas Iten is Managing Director and Head of Fintech Ventures at SIX. He is co-founder of the SIX Hackathon (Europe’s largest Fintech coding contest), co-founder and board member of the Zurich based F10 Fin Tech Incubator & Accelerator.
Andreas is an experienced innovation & entrepreneurship strategist, with proven leadership in high-level innovation, open-innovation, information technology management and entrepreneurship. Andreas has worked for over 15 years within leading institutions in the IT service, airline & transportation and the financial industry.
Since 2015 Andreas was leading technology innovation and he acted as the Chief Information Officer for the division Financial Information within SIX Group.
Theodora Lau
Theodora (Theo) Lau is a speaker, writer, and advisor, whose work seeks to spark innovation to improve consumer financial well-being and health. As a founder of Unconventional Ventures, she focuses on developing and growing an ecosystem of financial institutions, corporates, entrepreneurs, and venture capitalists to better address the unmet needs of consumers (e.g. older adults, gig workers, and women).
As part of her work, she regularly mentors and advises FinTech startups; she is also recognized as LinkedIn Top Voice for Economy and Finance and Top FinTech influencer. She hosts Rhetoriq, a podcast on fintech and longevity, and runs a weekly blog on Irish Tech News. She is a frequent contributing writer and speaker for conferences and top industry publications including Harvard Business Review.
Christian Lundsgaard-Hansen
Christian excels at bringing the right people and ideas together to create value. He does this in a wide range of initiatives – reaching from organizing the Swiss FinTech Awards, coaching start-ups to promoting computational thinking in Swiss primary schools.
He is also the host of the Sparkr Podcast in which he unveils the mindsets and tactics of great minds in business, innovation, creativity, and leadership. Check it out on http://sparkr.ch/podcast/.
Oliver Marchand
Prior to co-founding Carbon Delta, Oliver spent 9 years with Fisch Asset Management as Head IT. In that position, he was leading a team that was responsible for all IT operations and the development of the in-house portfolio management system. Moreover, he has worked as a researcher in weather forecasting for almost a decade.
At various weather services, he worked as a researcher and did fun stuff like using supercomputers, integrating new wind profiler data, and developing thunderstorm warning systems. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the ETH Zurich. Oliver is passionate about programming, triathlon, solar cooking, and his kids.
