SICTIC is embarking you on a journey to the world of Quantum Technology!

Starting with transistors as the first use of quantum technology, we are now witnessing an expansion of possibilities in quantum research. The last revolution, the IBM’s first circuit-based commercial quantum computer in January 2019, had put quantum technology in everyone’s mouth. Quantum technology is revolutionary and significantly impacts many sectors, such as healthcare and cyber security. But what does it mean for AI startups and future investment opportunities?

With our partner QuantumBasel & Plug and Play Basel at uptownBasel, we invite our members to learn more about Quantum Technology in Switzerland. In December 2022, the uptownBasel Group opened Switzerland’s first quantum computer hub for commercial use.

Come on April 25th to uptownBasel for a private tour of QuantumBasel, listen to a Quantum Expert from the QuantumBasel Team, and attend our pitch session with startups ready to make the leap toward quantum technology.

Startup Applications

Startups: If you want to pitch, please submit your project here. If accepted to pitch, you will get two free tickets to attend. We encourage startups that fulfil our investment criteria to submit their business case. We offer this service and the pitching at one of our events free of charge to startups. For each SICTIC Investor Day, a jury will select the eight most promising startups for pitching at the event.
