Anca Albu

Managing Director

Anca has been active in the development of the global tech startup ecosystem since 2010. Before joining SICTIC , she was one of the first to join the core Startup Weekend team and support the company into becoming the biggest entrepreneurial education organization worldwide. Also, she had an instrumental role in growing and connecting the European entrepreneurial community with her own organization CEE Changers, and also connecting VC’s with tech startups from NYC to London and Amsterdam.

Anca aims to create social impact via entrepreneurship, and has collaborated with global organizations such as United States Agency for International Development and national governments to create and run programs that would lead to a more stable entrepreneurial ecosystem in developing countries.

Anca holds a BSc in International Economic Relations with a minor on Managerial Marketing.

Nicole Bühler

Nicole holds a BSc in Business Administration with a Specialization in International Management from Zurich University of Applied Sciences.

She has multiple years’ experience in financial services, operations management, start-up and investor relations, and corporate event management.  In the past she has single-handedly organized, and managed events including road-shows, business club events, entrepreneurial education, consulting workshops, sports sponsoring, and art exhibitions.

 

Jessica Gut

Operations Intern

Jessica holds a Bachelor in Economics from the University of Zurich. At SICTIC Jessica helps the team with any and all projects and serves as administrative support.

Florian Lussi

Head of Operations and Startup Relations

Florian holds a MSc in Business Development and Promotion. At SICTIC Florian’s supports all operational activities including deal handling, investor engagement and special projects.

Dominika Pluska

Marketing and Communications Manager

Dominika holds a BAc in Industrial Design Management and has a great interest in impact of design and new technology on the startup ecosystem. Before starting her education, from 2011 to 2015, she created and marketed her own footwear
brand called Provocator. Dominika has also gained her experience as design-thinker and consultant in international design and branding agencies. At SICTIC she applies her understanding of design in the business context and takes care of SICTIC’s marketing and communication activities.
