Anca Albu

Managing Director

Anca has been active in the development of the global tech startup ecosystem since 2010. Before joining SICTIC , she was one of the first to join the core Startup Weekend team and support the company into becoming the biggest entrepreneurial education organization worldwide. Also, she had an instrumental role in growing and connecting the European entrepreneurial community with her own organization CEE Changers, and also connecting VC’s with tech startups from NYC to London and Amsterdam.

Anca aims to create social impact via entrepreneurship, and has collaborated with global organizations such as United States Agency for International Development and national governments to create and run programs that would lead to a more stable entrepreneurial ecosystem in developing countries.

Florian Lussi

Head of Operations and Startup Relations

Florian holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and currently pursues a master’s degree in business development and promotion. At SICTIC Florian’s activities involve the support of the deal handling, investor communications, and special tasks.

Philipp Mao


Philipp holds a bachelors degree in electrical engineering and information technology. Currently he is pursuing a Masters degree in computer and networks. At SICTIC he works on special projects and as an event assistant.

Joël Zünd

Associate Startups & Operations

Joël is currently studying Banking and Finance at the ZHAW School of Management and Law. Before joining SICTIC he worked as a salesperson, and in a next gig, he resumed the responsibility for the recruitment activities with the oldest vegetarian restaurant in the world. He is interested in economics, innovations, investments, and startups. At SICTIC he supports startups and investors.
