Anca has been active in the development of the global tech startup ecosystem since 2010. Before joining SICTIC , she was one of the first to join the core Startup Weekend team and support the company into becoming the biggest entrepreneurial education organization worldwide. Also, she had an instrumental role in growing and connecting the European entrepreneurial community with her own organization CEE Changers, and also connecting VC’s with tech startups from NYC to London and Amsterdam.
Anca aims to create social impact via entrepreneurship, and has collaborated with global organizations such as United States Agency for International Development and national governments to create and run programs that would lead to a more stable entrepreneurial ecosystem in developing countries.
Anca holds a BSc in International Economic Relations with a minor on Managerial Marketing.
Nicole holds a BSc in Business Administration with a Specialization in International Management from Zurich University of Applied Sciences.
She has multiple years’ experience in financial services, operations management, start-up and investor relations, and corporate event management. In the past she has single-handedly organized, and managed events including road-shows, business club events, entrepreneurial education, consulting workshops, sports sponsoring, and art exhibitions.
Cécile has a background in Business Administration. Since finishing her degree in 2007, she has worked in various project management and administration roles both in Switzerland and the UK.
She has multiple years of experience in the organization, coordination and administrative management of trade fairs, workshops and events. As a project coordinator for the Swiss Import Promotion Programme, she has gained experience in the matchmaking process and has enabled business to get ready for export.
Investment Coordination and Operations Intern
Sadam obtained his master’s degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from the University of Luxembourg in 2017.
Besides working in financial services, he also has entrepreneurial experience. He is passionate about innovative startups. He is assisting the team with investment coordination and operations.
Romandy Investment Coordination and Operations Intern
Sacha earned his Bachelor’s degree from Columbia University in 2020, majoring in East Asian Studies and Political Science.
In addition to working in banking in Hong Kong, Sacha attended Stanford University’s Business and Entrepreneurship summer program where he gained experience in technology startups and venture capital. He is supporting the team in the Romandy region with investment coordination and operations.
