From particle accelerators to startup accelerators. On 2 December 2025, SICTIC takes you inside CERN Ideasquare in Geneva for a one-of-a-kind deeptech breakfast event. In this exclusive SICTIC members only edition, the spotlight is on trailblazing startups developing technologies born at the intersection of science and entrepreneurship. Surrounded by the spirit of discovery that defines CERN, investors will meet founders transforming fundamental research into scalable ventures. Expect a morning of cutting-edge pitches, followed by a speed dating session for direct startup–investor matchmaking, and plenty of time for networking among those shaping the future of deeptech. Startup Applications

Startups: If you want to pitch, please submit your project here. If accepted to pitch, you will get two free tickets to attend. We encourage startups that fulfil our investment criteria to submit their business case. We offer this service and the pitching at one of our events free of charge to startups. For each SICTIC Investor Day, a jury will select the eight most promising startups for pitching at the event.

Important: In case you don’t express your interest to pitch at an event in your application form, we will assume you would rather just to want share your business case with SICTIC members and investors and will not include your project in the selection process.

Investor Registration

This event is intended primarily for SICTIC members only (also novices).

Location

CERN IdeaSquare

To get to IdeaSquare at CERN, you can either come by car or by tram.

If arriving by car, follow the signs to the “Visitor entrance” and park at the CERN Visitor parking. From Geneva, after entering CERN via Meyrin, turn right onto Route Bell, continue straight, and you’ll reach the entrance of the visitor parking located directly in front of the IdeaSquare building.

If coming by public transport, take tram 18 to its final stop, “CERN.” From there, it’s just a 3-minute walk to IdeaSquare.

Once you arrive at the entrance of IdeaSquare, ring the bell and we’ll let you in.
