Nadia Tarolli Schmidt
Partner VISCHER AG
Nadia Tarolli Schmidt heads up the Basel office of VISCHER’s tax team. She advises companies and private individuals on all matters pertaining to Swiss tax law (including criminal tax law) – both in the national and international environment. She has over ten years’ experience in restructurings, relocations and succession planning. Moreover, she is involved in various activities on supervisory boards and boards of trustees.
The know how she gained in her previous work at the Swiss Bankers Association has proved invaluable in banking and finance issues to her clients. Clients particularly appreciate her experience in US related matters. As an in-depth understanding of tax law is fundamental to advising occupational pensions, Nadia also heads up the VISCHER occupational pension funds team, which advises both pension funds and the insured parties.
In addition Nadia is active as a judge at the Tax Court for the canton of Basel-City. She is the Editor of the commentary on the Basle tax law.
Adrian Briner is a member in the tax team of VISCHER AG Basel where he specializes in both national and international tax law, advising companies and private individuals and assisting them in the preparation of tax declarations and in tax proceedings.

Projects submission window ended on August 13th, 2019, 24:00CET. If accepted to pitch, startups will get two free tickets to attend.
We encourage startups that fulfil our investment criteria to submit their business case for our upcoming events. We offer this service and the pitching at one of our events free of charge to startups. For each SICTIC Investor Day, a jury will select the eight most promising startups for pitching at the event.
Investor Registration
This event is intended primarily for angel investors (also novices). Family offices, fund managers and venture capitalists that want to invest in Swiss Startups are also welcome to attend.
